Our Mission

The Ted Lindsay Foundation (TLF) is a family-founded nonprofit organization dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Since 2001, we have been committed to fostering inclusion, empowerment, and support for children and families affected by autism.

Our vision is to expand our reach and deepen our impact by increasing support for autism-focused organizations across Michigan. By 2030, we aim to ensure that more individuals with autism and their families have access to essential resources, education, and opportunities for inclusion.

A CHAMPION ON AND OFF THE ICE

Ted Lindsay, an NHL legend and Hall of Famer, founded the Ted Lindsay Foundation in 2001 alongside his wife, Joanne, and friend John Czarnecki. Today, his legacy endures through the foundation’s efforts to support research, education, and inclusion initiatives.
