Want to have the legendary Ted Lindsay Trophy at your next event?
The Ted Lindsay Award, formerly known as the Lester B. Pearson Award, is awarded annually to the National Hockey League's most outstanding player in the regular season as judged by the members of the NHL Players' Association. On April 29, 2010, the National Hockey League Players' Association announced that the award would be reintroduced as the Ted Lindsay Award to honor Hall of Famer Ted Lindsay for his skill, tenacity, leadership, and role in establishing the original Players' Association.

Wayne Gretzky won the award five times during his career. Other notable winners of the Ted Lindsay award include Mario Lemiuex, Sergi Federov, Sidney Crosby, Alexander Ovechkin, Patrick Kane, and Connor McDavid.

Attend or host an Event
The Foundation raises money throughout the year by holding several much-anticipated events, including our Top Golf Event, Wine Tasting, and our Celebrity Golf Outing in September. Both events are supported by the Detroit Red Wings organization, its players and local celebrities.
During our Celebrity Golf Outing, the Foundation presents two annual Ted Lindsay Courage Awards. The first award to an individual who has been diagnosed with an ASD and demonstrates great character and perseverance in living with the challenges of this disorder. The second award goes to a family who demonstrates these same qualities. Over the last five years, we have granted over $20,000 to deserving individuals and families.
